No. 60 Acura Meyer Shank Racing w/ Curb Agajanian

Starting out racing go-karts, Blomqvist quickly made a name for himself once he moved into the open wheel ranks, winning the 2010 Formula Renault UK title and runner up in the 2014 FIA Formula 3 European Championship.

In 2015, Blomqvist made the switch to sports cars, joining the Deutsche Tourenwagen Masters (DTM) series. At 21, he became the youngest BMW driver to win a DTM race in his first season and went on to race for BMW in various sports car championships around the world, including a 24 Hours of Spa victory in 2018. He made his first foray into the WeatherTech SportsCar Championship in 2018, joining BMW in the GTLM class for a single race at Watkins Glen International, before becoming a full-time member of the team in 2019.

During this time Blomqvist was able to compete in three seasons of the FIA Formula E Championship. He also took part in the 2022 FIA eTouring Car World Cup, finishing third in the points with the Cupra EKS team.

Blomqvist has made two starts at the 24 Hours of Le Mans. His best finish was second in 2021 behind the wheel of a Jota Sport LMP2 entry, a car which he drove for the entire FIA World Endurance Championship that year and finished second in the LMP2 driver standings.

He joined Meyer Shank Racing in 2022 for a full-season of the WeatherTech SportsCar Championship and won the first race of the year, the Rolex 24 at Daytona, with co-drivers Helio Castroneves, Oliver Jarvis and Simon Pagenaud. Runner up finishes at WeatherTech Raceway Laguna Seca, Mid-Ohio Sports Car Course, Detroit Grand Prix, Watkins Glen International and Canadian Tire Motorsport Park followed. He helped the team secure the 2022 DPi Championship with a victory at the season-ending Petit Le Mans at Road Atlanta.

Blomqvist returned to MSR, scoring another Rolex 24 overall victory and bookending the season with a win at the Motul Petit Le Mans. In addition, he and teammate Colin Braun won at CTMP. Now, the pair are returning behind the wheel together in the No. 60 Aura Meyer Shank Racing w/ Curb Agajanian Acura ARX-06.

Colin Braun’s racing career began in the driveway of his childhood home in Ovalo, Texas, when his father, race engineer Jeff Braun, put him in a go-kart and started timing his laps. Thus began a lightning quick trajectory to becoming one of North America’s most sought after drivers.

Braun made the jump from karting to open-wheel racing at the age of 15, winning the 2003 Formula TR Pro Series FR 1600 Championship and then the 2004 Formula TR Pro Series FR 2000 Championship.
At only 16 years of age, Colin Braun made his sports car debut in the 2005 Rolex 24 at Daytona. He finished seventh in a GT-class Porsche 996 GT3 Cup. In 2006 he ran a full-season of the GRAND-AM Road Racing Championship with Krohn Racing in a Ford-Riley Daytona Prototype.

He continued with Krohn Racing the following year which afforded him the opportunity to participate in the 24 Hours of Le Mans. He earned a second-place finish in the GT2 category driving a Ferrari F430. By this time Braun had caught the eyes of executives at Ford Performance and Rousch Fenway Racing who selected him for their NASCAR program. In 2008, Braun was the NASCAR Camping World Truck Series Rookie of the Year. He finished fifth in the points the following year before moving up to the Nationwide Series.

Braun returned to full-time sports car racing in 2012 with CORE autosport in the IMSA WeatherTech SportsCar Championship. There, he claimed the 2014 and 2015 Prototype Challenge (PC) driver titles and in 2022 he added another driver championship in the LMP3 category.

Braun got his first taste of off-road racing when CORE entered the Global RallyCross Lites class in 2016 and 2017. He finished third in his first race and scored a total of five podium finishes across the two seasons.

When it comes to the Rolex 24 at Daytona, Braun has entered the race for 18-consecutive years and has won three times; 2014 with CORE autosport, 2020 with Dragonspeed and 2023 with Meyer Shank Racing. Braun will make his return to Meyer Shank Racing and once again pair up with 2023 teammate Tom Blomqvist in the No. 60 Acura Meyer Shank Racing w/ Curb Agajanian Acura ARX-06.

RENGER VAN DE ZANDE

Renger van der Zande started karting competitively in his teenage years and quickly caught the open-wheel bug. Starting in 2004, he was immediately successful in Formula cars, winning the Formula Renault 2000 Netherlands Championship in 2005, and catching the eye of Formula 3 teams.

While driving for Prema in 2007, van der Zande entered the Mercedes AMG development program. He racked up open wheel wins and podiums the next three years, finishing Top 5 in several Formula 3 Championships across Europe.

In 2011, van der Zande made the switch and found a new home in sports car competition, joining the Deutsche Tourenwagen Masters with Persson Motorsport. Within a couple years, his talents found him racing in WEC, ALMS, and International GT.

America was up next! In 2014, van der Zande joined Starworks Motorsport to race the Prototype Challenge class in the TUDOR United SportsCar Championship (now IMSA). He earned 9 wins and one Championship in three seasons, and the paddock was taking notice.

In 2017, van der Zande moved up to the premiere class then known as LMP2, driving a full season with Visit Florida Racing. That year also kept him busy with 24 Hours of Nürburgring and several GT races in Europe. 2018 saw him finish third in the Championship and it also marked his first year competing at the 24 Hours of Le Mans.

Van der Zande had back-to-back Rolex 24 At Daytona wins in 2019 and 2020. His IMSA success would continue with four seasons at Cadillac Chip Ganassi Racing. Highlights include 7 wins, a fourth place finish at Le Mans, and twice finished third in the Championship.

For the 2025 IMSA SportsCar Championship, van der Zande will team up with Nick Yelloly and help Acura chase a GTP title.

NICK YELLOLY

No. 93 Acura Meyer Shank Racing w/ Curb Agajanian

Like his teammates, Nick Yelloly found early success in karting and moved up to open wheel racing. In 2008 at age 18, he joined Formula Renault UK and garnered several podiums and a Vice Championship in three seasons. His development continued in Formula Renault 3.5 for another three years, honing his skills and notching wins.

In 2013, Yelloly set his sights on the next rung in the ladder, GP3, scoring four podiums for Carlin Racing in his first full season. The seat time and experience continued, as he raced full-time in GP2 and then GP3 the next two years.

Sports cars were up next! Making the switch to the Porsche Carrera Cup Germany series in 2016, Yelloly finished the year as Rookie Vice Champion and sixth overall. For 2017, he returned to the Series and won three races and ended as Championship runner-up. After a couple of good showings in Porsche Supercup that same season, Yelloly would make a full-time move to the top Series in 2018. The Brit took second in the Porsche Supercup Championship, having secured wins at both the Monaco and German Grand Prix.

After those successful two years, BMW snagged Yelloly and signed him as an official works driver in 2019. His first assignment was the China GT Championship, where he took home five victories and the overall season title. He continued to impress the following year, competing in several GT events across the globe and winning the 2020 24 Hours of Nürburgring.

In 2022, Yelloly continued to compete full-time with ROWE Racing in the GT World Challenge Europe Endurance Cup, but also traveled stateside to drive a GT car for BMW Team RLL in two IMSA endurance events.

In 2023, Yelloly signed with the new BMW M Team RLL works team racing in the top GTP category, where they had six podiums and one win in his two seasons. In addition to bringing home BMW’s first GTP win at Watkins Glen in 2023, Yelloly flew straight to Belgium and won the 24 Hours of Spa for ROWE Racing the very next weekend.

Yelloly is also currently a simulator driver for the Aston Martin F1 team. He’s been an F1 simulator driver since 2014, working for three iterations of the same team lineage: Force India, Racing Point and Aston Martin.

For the 2025 IMSA SportsCar Championship, Yelloly will team up with Renger van der Zande and help Acura chase a GTP title.
