Elkhart Lake, Wis. (June 20, 2026) – Meyer Shank Racing drivers Marcus Armstrong and Felix Rosenqvist continued the team's strong form Saturday at Road America, qualifying third and fourth, respectively, for Sunday’s XPEL Grand Prix (2:00 p.m. ET, FOX, SiriusXM Ch. 218).
The result marks the third time this season that both MSR entries have qualified inside the top six. Armstrong and Rosenqvist unloaded with impressive pace from the start, leading the opening practice session with a 1-2 finish. Armstrong followed up with another strong showing in Saturday morning’s Practice 2, placing the No. 66 REMAX Honda second on the time charts.
Both drivers advanced through the opening two rounds of qualifying to earn spots in the Firestone Fast 6. Rosenqvist’s fourth-place effort gives the driver of the No. 60 SiriusXM Honda his sixth Fast 6 appearance of the season, while Armstrong secured his fourth top-six qualifying result of 2026 in the No. 66 REMAX Honda.
The third-row sweep puts Meyer Shank Racing in prime position heading into Sunday’s 55-lap race on the iconic 4.014-mile road course.
Meyer Shank Racing Driver Quotes:
Marcus Armstrong: “The pressure was on today because we were ‘rapido’ from the start. And then quali, it’s like well, we need to do the job now. And we did. The car was great and it has been all weekend. So yeah lets go racin’ ...boogity boogity boogity!"
Felix Rosenqvist: “P4 and I feel like it was all I had. Didn’t really make any mistakes. We were kind of on the back foot from practice and kept getting it better and better through qualifying after transferring out of Q1. So, I think we did a good job bouncing back from that. I didn’t really have a perfect weekend leading up to qualis, and I think that’s probably what got us a little bit. But, second row lockout for MSR is great, and I think we have a good shot for tomorrow."
