Podium for Rosenqvist on the Streets of Long Beach

Long Beach, Calif. (April 19, 2026) - Meyer Shank Racing notched its fourth career podium finish on Sunday with Rosenqvist bringing the No. 60 SiriusXM / Acura Honda home second. Rosenqvist dominated the first half of the 90-lap race, leading for 59 laps after starting from the pole.

Marcus Armstrong’s tough weekend continued into race day with the New Zealander finishing 24th in the No. 66 Remax Honda. Armstrong started the race mid-pack in 13th and at a track that’s notorious for its limited passing opportunities, he maintained that position through the first two pit cycles. Unfortunately a mishap in the pit lane and a subsequent tire puncture in the closing laps, Armstrong came home 24th.

Meyer Shank Racing Driver Quotes:

Felix Rosenqvist: “I had a really good race, particularly on the reds. The first two stints we seemed to make them last while keeping good pace. I don’t think we necessarily had a bad stop, maybe Alex (Palou) just had a faster stop with an easy out. But of course I’m happy with a podium, great job by the whole crew, and hope we can take that momentum into May”

Marcus Armstrong: “It was not our weekend unfortunately. We had a tough qualifying yesterday, which did not put us in a great starting spot for today and then we had a variety of things happen to us in pit lane and out on track that set us back.  We’ll regroup and rebound for Indy.”
