Nickelback and SiriusXM’s Octane Join MSR for INDYCAR Season Finale

Nickelback to serve as Grand Marshall of INDYCAR Grand Prix of Monterey
Pataskala, Ohio (September 1, 2026) — Meyer Shank Racing (MSR) and SiriusXM will close out the 2026 NTT INDYCAR SERIES season with one of rock’s biggest names as Nickelback and SiriusXM’s Octane (channel 37) join Felix Rosenqvist on the No. 60 SiriusXM Honda for the INDYCAR Grand Prix of Monterey.
The season finale marks MSR and SiriusXM’s 14th artist collaboration of the 2026 season, bringing together some of the biggest names across country, pop, rock and alternative music throughout the INDYCAR calendar. The partnership will conclude with Nickelback, who will be featured on Rosenqvist’s No. 60 Honda for the final race of the season.
Nickelback will also be on-site at WeatherTech Raceway Laguna Seca for Sunday’s season finale, with band members Chad Kroeger, Ryan Peake, Mike Kroeger and Daniel Adair joining MSR to see the No. 60 SiriusXM Honda and its new livery in person. In addition to getting front row seats to INDYCAR’s season finale, Nickeback will also serve as Grand Marshall and will give the command.
Hailing from Canada, Nickelback has sold more than 50 million albums worldwide and was named Billboard’s “Top Rock Group of the Decade.” The band has earned numerous accolades throughout its career and continues to be one of the most recognizable names in rock music.
The collaboration comes ahead of the October 30 release of Nickelback’s upcoming album, Everything Under the Sun, adding another milestone to an already impressive career for the band.
Joining Nickelback on Rosenqvist’s No. 60 Honda is SiriusXM’s Octane, the home of new hard rock on SiriusXM. Available on channel 37, Octane showcases the next generation of rock artists, the latest releases, exclusive artist takeovers and some of the biggest names in hard rock, including Nickelback.
The INDYCAR Grand Prix of Monterey kicks off Friday with practice, followed by qualifying on Saturday and the 95-lap season finale on Sunday, September 6 at 2:30 p.m. ET on FOX. SiriusXM’s IndyCar Nation (channel 218) will also provide live radio coverage throughout the race weekend.
