Meyer Shank Racing Qualifies Eighth and 17th for the Borchetta Bourbon Music City Grand Prix

Lebanon, Tenn. (July 18, 2026) – Qualifying is complete for Sunday's Borchetta Bourbon Music City Grand Prix at Nashville Superspeedway, with Marcus Armstrong leading the Meyer Shank Racing (MSR) duo with an eighth-place qualifying run. Felix Rosenqvist will start 17th for the 300-lap race on Sunday (5:30pm ET, FOX, SiriusXM ch. 218).
Armstrong was pleased with the balance and speed of the No. 66 Remax Honda after qualifying and will use Saturday's final practice to gain more insight running in race traffic. Rosenqvist also reported a well-balanced No. 60 SiriusXM Honda - which features SiriusXM The Highway (ch. 56) and Riley Green this weekend for a special Music City-inspired livery - and will look to work his way forward from the middle of the field.
Both MSR drivers have shown strength on ovals in recent seasons. Rosenqvist scored MSR's second Indianapolis 500 victory earlier this year, while Armstrong has recorded 10 top-ten finishes in just 16 oval starts, including his first career INDYCAR podium at Iowa Speedway in 2025. On ovals this year, Armstrong also has the fourth best average finish (6.33) in the INDYCAR field.
Sunday's race is significantly longer than last year's 225-lap event, increasing to 300 laps around the 1.33-mile Nashville Superspeedway. The additional distance will provide both drivers with more time and opportunity to move through the 25-car field.
The Borchetta Bourbon Music City Grand Prix takes the green flag Sunday at 5:30 p.m. ET on FOX, with SiriusXM IndyCar Radio providing live coverage on channel 218.
