Meyer Shank Racing Looking for Home Advantage at Mid-Ohio

Pataskala, Ohio (July 1, 2026) – Meyer Shank Racing (MSR) returns to its home track this weekend as the NTT INDYCAR SERIES heads to Mid-Ohio Sports Car Course for Sunday's Honda Indy 200. As the only Ohio-based team in the series—headquartered in Pataskala, just over an hour from the 2.258-mile road course—MSR is eager to capitalize on its home-field advantage in Round 11 of the championship.
After coming agonizingly close to its first NTT INDYCAR SERIES victory outside of the Indianapolis 500 at Road America, MSR and Marcus Armstrong arrive at Mid-Ohio determined to turn their speed into a result. Armstrong was on his way to capture his maiden INDYCAR victory before an engine failure with fewer than five laps remaining dropped him to a 24th-place finish. Looking to bounce back, the New Zealander will once again pilot the striking yellow-and-black Acura Honda, the same special livery that charged through the field during the closing laps of this year's Indianapolis 500.
This weekend marks Armstrong's fourth INDYCAR start at Mid-Ohio, where he has recorded top-10 finishes in two of his three appearances, including a career-best seventh-place result with MSR in 2025. He will once again drive the No. 66 Acura Honda featuring Acura's special 40th Anniversary livery, celebrating four decades since Acura became the first Japanese luxury automotive brand introduced in the United States.
Felix Rosenqvist also enters the weekend with momentum after another strong performance at Road America. His No. 60 SiriusXM Honda will feature a bold new Ozzy's Boneyard (Ch. 38) and Zakk Wylde's Black Label Society livery. The design serves as a tribute to Ozzy Osbourne, who tragically passed away last July, just weeks after MSR debuted its first Ozzy's Boneyard-themed livery at Mid-Ohio in 2025.
Mid-Ohio has been a strong circuit for Rosenqvist throughout his INDYCAR career. The Swede has made eight starts at the track, earning his best finishes in his first and most recent appearances—a runner-up finish in 2019 and a sixth-place result with MSR in 2025.
The Honda Indy 200 at Mid-Ohio Sports Car Course will take the green flag on Sunday, July 5. Live coverage begins at 12:30 p.m. ET on FOX, while SiriusXM IndyCar Radio will provide live coverage throughout the weekend on SiriusXM Ch. 218.
