Meyer Shank Racing Eyes Strong Result at Road America

Pataskala, Ohio (June 17, 2026) – Following a top-ten finish on the short oval at World Wide Technology Raceway, Meyer Shank Racing (MSR) heads north to Elkhart Lake, Wisconsin for the XPEL Grand Prix at Road America, the 10th round of the 2026 NTT INDYCAR SERIES season. The 55-lap race on the iconic 4.048-mile, 14-turn road course will air live Sunday, June 21 at 2:00 p.m. ET on FOX, with INDYCAR Radio providing coverage throughout the weekend on SiriusXM channel 218.

Felix Rosenqvist looks to reclaim the form he had at Road America last year, where he finished second, after charging from 12th and battling for the lead in the closing laps. The 2026 Indianapolis 500 winner claimed victory at the Wisconsin circuit in 2020, his second INDYCAR win. Rosenqvist enters the weekend eighth in the championship standings with a win, pole position and runner-up finish already to his credit this season. The No. 60 SiriusXM Honda will feature a special SiriusXM Alt Nation (ch. 36) and YUNGBLUD Radio livery, spotlighting SiriusXM's alternative music channel.

Marcus Armstrong arrives at Road America carrying momentum from a ninth-place finish at WWTR. The New Zealander has recorded five top-ten finishes through the opening nine races and finished outside the top 11 only once. Armstrong has earned top-ten finishes in seven of his nine road course starts for MSR, and delivered a career-best Road America result last season, climbing from 15th on the grid to finish fifth. He currently sits 10th in the championship standings and will drive the No. 66 REMAX Honda this weekend.

While Road America has been a challenge for MSR since its first start in 2019, last year’s dual top-five result denotes a shift. That result was part of a strong 2025 campaign that saw MSR score 11 top-ten finishes in 14 road course starts. With both drivers inside the championship top ten, the team heads to Wisconsin looking to continue that momentum.

Meyer Shank Racing Driver Quotes:

Felix Rosenqvist: “Super excited for Road America after a much needed week off. It’s a prime event for us on the calendar and it’s a track that has treated us well in the past. Really looking forward to getting back out there.”

Marcus Armstrong: “Road America is one of my favorites. Fast and flowing. Reminds me of a past life in Europe as the tracks are similar there. Despite being a road course the race can be chaotic, so we’ll be looking to start up front and stay there.”
