(13 May 2025) - Meyer Shank Racing (MSR) closed out Day 2 of Indianapolis 500 practice with lots of laps turned and lessoned learned in preparation for the 109th Running of the Indianapolis 500 on May 25th (Fox, SiriusXM Channel 218). Wednesday morning saw practice delayed by one hour due to rain with a brief period of down time in the 4 o'clock hour, but all three Meyer Shank Racing machines clocked plenty of laps ahead of this weekend's Indianapolis 500 qualifying. Marcus Armstrong - No. 66 Spectrum Honda Top Speed: 224.409 mph No Tow Speed: N/A Total Laps: 76 "It was a good day. The car felt quite strong. The balance felt better than yesterday for sure. Honestly, the balance was as much as I would have hoped from the balance standpoint." Helio Castroneves - No. 06 Cleveland-Cliffs Honda Top Speed: 224.389 mph No Tow Speed: 211.171 mph Total Laps: 114 "Today we continued to improve. Good progress again today. Keep chipping away some room to improve. But now we gotta think about qualifying." Weirdly calm in the beginning of the day and quite good group running at the end of the day. We have a pretty good understanding of the car and what we need to work on.
