Avondale, Texas (March 6, 2026) – Meyer Shank Racing (MSR) completed its first oval qualifying session of the NTT INDYCAR SERIES season on Friday, with Marcus Armstrong securing the 13th starting position in the No. 66 Root Insurance Honda. Teammate Felix Rosenqvist will start from the back of the field after a practice incident sidelined the No. 60 entry during qualifying while the team worked to complete repairs.
Halfway through the morning practice session, Rosenqvist made contact with the wall, bringing his run to an early end. Fortunately, the chassis was repairable, and the MSR crew immediately began work to address the damage. With limited time between sessions, Rosenqvist did not make qualifying but is expected to return to the track for the final practice of the day later Friday afternoon.
Saturday’s Good Ranchers 250 at Phoenix Raceway is set to go green at 12:30pm ET on Saturday. FOX will carry live race coverage in addition to live radio coverage on SiriusXM channel 218.
