Acura Meyer Shank Racing Ready for Redemption in Sebring

Pataskala, Ohio (February 17, 2026) - Acura Meyer Shank Racing (“Acura MSR”) returns to Sebring International Raceway for the 74th running of the Twelve Hours of Sebring. The event marks the second round of the 2026 IMSA WeatherTech SportsCar Championship.

Acura MSR enters the weekend looking to rebound after a challenging Rolex 24 At Daytona. The team showed early speed, including a pole start for the No. 93 Acura. But late-race setbacks and changing conditions resulted in fifth- and ninth-place finishes in the end.

The team will field its two Acura ARX-06 entries in the stacked GTP class and will bring back an all-star cast of drivers. The No. 60 Acura will be driven by returning full-timers Tom Blomqvist and Colin Braun, and joined by six-time INDYCAR champion Scott Dixon. The No. 93 Acura will feature the full-time duo of Renger van der Zande and Nick Yelloly, who will be joined by four-time INDYCAR champion, Alex Palou. Both Dixon and Palou are regulars in Acura MSR’s endurance line-up.

The team enters Sebring still chasing its first victory in the 12-hour classic. MSR has made 16 starts at the event since 2014, earning three podium finishes and two pole positions. Sebring remains the only endurance race on the IMSA calendar that MSR has yet to win.

Many of the Acura drivers are seeking their first Sebring victory as well, with Braun the only driver to have won on the iconic road course (2014, 2016, 2021). He will make his 15th consecutive Sebring start, while Blomqvist returns for his sixth appearance. Dixon will make his 13th start at Sebring and has a pole (2009) and runner-up finish (2024) on his resume.

In the No. 93, van der Zande is also looking for his first Sebring win, making his 13th start with an impressive seven podium finishes at the event. Yelloly boasts two Sebring podiums in just four starts, while Palou makes only his second appearance at the circuit after finishing on the podium with his 93 teammates in 2025.

The Twelve Hours of Sebring features a 55-car field across four classes, with competitors taking on the 3.74-mile, 17-turn course of Sebring International Raceway. The green flag flies on Saturday, March 21 at 10:10 am ET with 12 hours of  flag-to-flag race coverage live on Peacock beginning at 10:00 am ET. Additional television coverage airs on NBCSN from 5:00–10:30 pm ET.

Qualifying will take place on Friday, March 20 at 11:20 a.m. ET, with live coverage available on Peacock and NBCSN. For international fans, qualifying and the race can be found on IMSA’s YouTube channel.

IMSA Radio provides live coverage of all practice sessions, qualifying, and the race on SiriusXM channel 206.

DRIVER QUOTES

Renger van der Zande: “Sebring is my favorite race of the year. It’s the most classic IMSA race you can imagine. It’s in the daytime, then it’s in the dark, and anything can happen whether you have a fast car or a slow car. We have high hopes after testing and have had some improvements from Daytona. So, we’ll see what happens and we will give it everything we have!”

Nick Yelloly: “Looking forward to getting back to a track where we were competitive from the get-go last year. Obviously in Daytona, we weren’t where we wanted to be, particularly at the end. But I feel we learned a lot in the recent Sebring test and looking forward to putting that into action. All guns blazing and aiming to be at the front where we belong.”

Alex Palou: "I’m super excited for Sebring. Last year we got our first podium there in the No. 93 and this season we started strong with a pole in Daytona. Although our result during that race wasn’t what we wanted, I know we have all the tools to fight for a win this weekend. It’s been a long stretch of race weekends for me and Scott, but we always look forward to getting into the Acuras.”

Tom Blomqvist: “Off the back of a disappointing and somewhat challenging Daytona, we look to have a much better result in Sebring. The team did pretty well here last year with the 93 car. But for the 60 car, it seems to have been a bit of a bogey track for us in the past, not really having much success here. It’s obviously one of the blue ribbon events that we as a team and the drivers really want to win. I’ve never even been on the podium in Sebring, so it’s high up there on my bucket list. Hopefully this weekend we can execute and get on the top step.”

Colin Braun: "After a good test a few weeks ago, we are feeling confident. Sebring is a very dynamic race with a track that constantly changes. Clearly the end of the race at night is the most important time to be fast, but you have to survive the typical mid-day heat as well. Going to be intense with the usual traffic, but that makes it such a fun race! I know our Acura MSR team has been hard at work crunching out post-test data and getting ready for a strong weekend on track."

Scott Dixon: “Always look forward to Sebring. One of the classics on the schedule. It’s an event that I haven’t won yet and really would like to get a victory here. Last year we had some good pace, but unfortunately it didn’t go as planned. This is a race I try and do every year and am especially enjoying it with the MSR boys and girls. So yeah, let’s win this thing!”
