Sebring, Fla. (10 March 2025) – Acura Michael Shank Racing’s (“Acura MSR”) two-car GTP lineup is headed back to sunny Florida for the second race of the IMSA WeatherTech SportsCar Championship season. The Mobil 1 Twelve Hours of Sebring is the second endurance event of the year, and one that proves just as challenging as Daytona (Saturday, March 15, 10:00am ET, Peacock, SiriusXM Channel 206).

Meyer Shank Racing got off to a fast start at the season opening Rolex 24 At Daytona which saw the No. 60 Acura ARX-06 w/ Curb Agajanian finish just 1.3 seconds shy of claiming a fourth overall victory in Daytona. Returning to the wheel in the No. 60 Acura are full-season drivers Tom Blomqvist and Colin Braun and will be joined by Scott Dixon.

Going into the Twelve Hours of Sebring, the No. 60 Acura has a combined 30 starts at the 12 hour classic. Braun goes into the weekend with three victories and two podiums finishes while Blomqvist and Dixon will be aiming to get their first win on the 3.74-mile road course.

The No. 93 Acura ARX-06 w/ Curb Agajanian drivers Renger van der Zande, Nick Yelloly and Alex Palou will be aiming for redemption after suspension damage early in the Rolex 24 dropped the Acura down to an eighth place finish. Having competed in the Mobile 1 Twelve Hours of Sebring since 2014, van der Zande has collected six podium finishes while Yelloly has a second place overall finish in 2023. Coming off of a win in the NTT INDYCAR SERIES season opener in St. Petersburg, Palou will be making his first start at Sebring International Raceway.

The Mobil 1 Twelve Hours of Sebring will have flag to flag coverage this weekend on Peacock starting on Saturday, March 15th at 10:00am ET. Live IMSA radio coverage can also be accessed on SiriusXM channel 206.

Meyer Shank Racing Team Quotes:

Mike Shank: “To me, Sebring is always the hardest race of the year. The place challenges every person on the team. We have never won there, so we’re putting in a huge effort to do well. We had a good test there last month and our team and HRC (Honda Racing Corporation US) continue to bond and integrate very well. Last year, the Acura won the race, and we anticipate the car and team will be able to perform at a very high level. To me, Sebring is strategically about survival and being near the lead until an hour to go. There is always a yellow at end of race and you have to be towards the front to survive the scrum on the restart.”

Nick Yelloly: “I very much am looking forward to Sebring after a solid test we had a few weeks back. It’s one of the toughest, if not the toughest event on the calendar. Twelve hours can feel like 24 hours when you’re thrown around the track for that long. And the heat can be ultra brutal on the drivers and crew. But at the same time, Sebring can be one of the most rewarding races when you do well. So we’re eager to get back and racing.”

Colin Braun: “I can’t wait to get going in Sebring. I know the MSR and HRC groups have been working hard since Daytona and having a lot to build on is a huge momentum boost for all of us. We had a productive test a few weeks ago and have been working to convert that into performance when we show up this weekend. Daytona has us motivated and eager to get back to the track.”
